Founded in 2018, BukhoBuhle Architects is an architectural design firm that combines design excellence, cultural authenticity, and relentless innovation to shape the world around us. ‘Bukho’ means Presence/God’s Presence in Xhosa and ‘Buhle’ speaks to Beauty in Zulu, so our vision then was clear, and that is to infuse every architectural creation with everlasting beauty, for our name’ sake. Mr. Blessing Mbuli
Principal Architect & Founder
Blessing is a qualified Architectural Technologist and a member of the South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP). With over half a decade of experience in the field, Blessing has worked on numerous projects throughout South Africa. Before establishing BukhoBuhle Architects (BBA) in 2018, he worked as an Architectural Technologist in one of the leading architectural firms in Pretoria. His passion and expertise in the field quickly led to his promotion as a Managing Director. With the vision of building his own architectural firm, he made the decision to resign from his position to devote all his attention to growing BBA.
As a forward-thinking and client-centric architect, Blessing strives to create spaces that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional and sustainable. With Blessing at the helm, BBA is committed to delivering architectural solutions that inspire and transform spaces across South Africa.
